Below is a photo of the house showing progress of work as of Saturday, November 21st. This includes installation of exterior sheathing, hurricane straps, Tyvek on the front of house, three windows, and start of blocking for foam insulation. Volunteers installed and nailed sheathing and placed “Perma Felt” as a waterproofing cover for the roof. Tuesday and Wednesday a crew from Strobel Construction set the roof tresses, decked the roof, and installed the fascia board.

After taking Thanksgiving week off, work will resume Thursday December 3 through Saturday December 5. Work begins at 9 am and continues until 3:30 pm. All volunteers are welcome each day, especially volunteers who helped on the Big Build.
